I have experience running workshops for a wide-range of organisations and audiences, including The Writing Squad, The Poetry School, and The Poetry Business. I am often available to teach one-off writing workshops, and am welcome to be enquired about the possibility of running residential courses or longer workshop programmes. I currently teach a course on "Writing Pain" at The Poetry School. I can offer "pain" related writing days based on my research, or more general workshops for an audience looking to explore beyond a theme. I have an advanced DBS and experience working with children and teenagers, and always enjoy the opportunity to work with schools. I am a tutor at Aberystwyth University and currently completing qualifications towards accreditation as an Associate Fellow at Higher Education Academy.

I also offer editorial services on groupings of 10 poems for 1 hour for £50. Beyond merely offering feedback on the poems, I suggest magazines that might be a good fit and give general guidance towards those who see themselves as 'early poets' or are just dipping their toe into writing. Concessions are available for students and those on a limited income.
